Deleting Information

Information in individual fields can often be changed or erased in text fields or set back to "Please select" for lookup fields.

Entire records (cases, timeslips, etc.) generally can't be deleted in LegalServer.

Can I delete a prescreen, intake, or case? No. Matters can be rejected if an administrator has enabled that link.

Can I delete a note? Some notes can be deleted if that option is enabled.

Can I delete an outreach? Outreach records can't be deleted, but the Active field can be set to No and they will not appear in the list by default.

Can I delete a timeslip? No, timeslips can't be deleted. Set the Time Spent to 0 for a timeslip that should not have been entered. If allowed by the timeslip setup, the Date of Service can be backdated into the past.
