Verifying Time (Optional Feature)

Purpose: Periodically prompt users to electronically verify their time, by reviewing and submitting a form.

Cost: There is no charge to implement this feature.

Administrative Setup: Site administrators enable this feature on the Admin > Timekeeping Settings page.

Note: This feature is distinct from the verification feature within the Advanced Grants Management module. It should not be enabled on sites using that module.

When enabled, this feature displays "Verify Time" links in the Messages widget (new interface) or sidebar (legacy interface).

Clicking one of the links displays a form showing the hours recorded for the period, and a Verified field and Notes box allowing the user to verify those hours.
