Bulk Edit Client Information on Cases

Purpose: Update Client Information on multiple associated cases at one time.

Cost: To be determined.

Status: Beta Testing

To participate in beta testing, file a ticket (Help menu > Support Request) requesting that Bulk Edit Client Information on Cases be enabled on your site.

Required Permission: User Role Permission "Bulk Client Edit" to see the link. 

Using

On a Client Profile page (typically reached by clicking on a client name instead of a case number), Actions menu > Bulk Edit

Notice the case linked to the client profile you selected. The data you see in the fields to edit will come from this case. This case will be edited in addition to any cases that you select in the list below the fields.

Select the fields you want to edit and make any necessary changes.

How can I add more fields here? You can't. Adding fields requires programming. You can file a wishlist or quote ticket from your site asking for additional fields. We may or may not be able to add them.

Then select the cases you want to edit from the list:

Click the Continue button to update the selected cases. A case note will be added to each case about the update.
