Bulk Edit Case Title
Purpose: Update the Case Title field on multiple cases.
Cost: None. Available on all sites effective 2022-06-10.
User Role Permission: Bulk Edit Case Title, to see the link on the Admin page.
Using
Admin > Bulk Edit Case Title
Enter the Case Title text to search for (this is a "contains the text" search) and the replacement text:
On the next page, optionally further filter the list of results, then check the box for each case you want to update:
The confirmation page shows a list of cases that will be changed:
Click "Continue" to update those cases, or navigate away from this page to not make any changes.
Updating will return you to the first page, and confirm the number of cases updated.
A case note is created on each changed case, so you know who, what, and when:
