Email - Limiting Recipients Box Search Results

Email can be sent from several places in LegalServer, most commonly when entering notes.

The Recipients box for an outbound email allows searching all active contacts (including users, because they are also contacts). So one way you can keep someone out of the Recipients searches is by setting their Contact record to Active = No.

The Admin > Site Settings page allows restricting the search results to active contacts with email addresses in one or more domains using "Domains to search for recipients":

If you put "," in that box, then the Recipients box searches would show a result for a contact with the email address "", but not for a contact with the email address "".

This setting only affects the search results. Users can still manually enter email addresses in Recipients boxes.
