Online Intake and Redirect to Next Block

Purpose: Allows an applicant completing an Online Intake to be transferred to an Online Intake on another site.

Cost: None. Available on all online intake sites.

Requirements: Online Intake Trigger API

Use Case: A centralized online intake site collects limited information, and at the end of the intake the applicant sees a Next button that redirects them to an online intake on another site. As part of the redirection, values of the fields included in the Online Intake Trigger API are transferred.

Configuration Options

  • “Use selected target organization from Online Intake Referral Organization List block”
    • If set to Yes -  Uses the Online Intake Referral Organization List block to determine which site to transfer to.
    • If set to No -  allows an administrator to specify a particular site to transfer to. This can be used with Branch Logic or Guided Navigation to create expressions that trigger different versions of the same block to transfer to different sites.
  • Success Message - the message a user sees when the case is successfully e-transferred. Where multiple language support is enabled on an online intake site, an input for the success message will appear for each enabled language.
  • Destination Intake Internal ID (Optional) - allows an administrator to specify the online intake process the client will be routed to. This is the Process ID value (a number) of the destination intake process to be continued.

If no ID is specified, it will use the process selected on the destination site's "Online Intake Trigger API Dynamic Process" setting on the Admin > Process Settings page. If nothing has been selected for that setting, it will look for an intake process named “Online Intake” and use that.

  • Destination API Auth Token - The Authorization Token is what allows the case to be transferred. This is the Personal Access Token for an API user on the destination OI site. It needs to have the “Online Intake Trigger” API permission.
  • Failure Message - the message a user sees when the case fails to e-transfer. Where multiple language support is enabled on an online intake site, an input for the failure message will appear for each enabled language.
