News

Surely a December to remember as these nice folks prepare to go live next week:

🚀 Methodist Justice Ministry

🚀 Ohio State Legal Services Association

Changes and Updates

⏳ Effective for demo sites on 2022-12-01, then on live sites on 2022-12-09. ⏳

API mavens should visit the always informative API Changelog.

LS-79605: The Admin page on some sites contains "System Metrics" and "Metrics". Both lead to the same page. In a fit of housekeeping, we're tossing out one of them.

LS-92723: The Case Data > Person subtable in reports has a nice "Full Name (Do Not Use as Filter)" column. So far so good. However, if you export to Excel, your sense of tidiness is offended by two spaces between the first and last name when there is no middle name. More sadness as you realize there is an errant space after the name if there is no suffix. NB: On existing reports with this column, you'll need to remove and re-add to get the shiny new output.

LS-94857: The Current Assignments list view (colloquially: My Assignments tab on the home page) will no longer turn it into a pink block of frozen sadness if you sort on the Funding Code column and one or more of the cases in the list have multiple funding codes stored.

LS-95706: Project time distribution could fail under certain conditions. Failure should not be an option, so this ticket stops it.

LS-95940: Stop the "Auto Create Folders" block from causing an error if added to a Guided Navigation dialogue. NB: Don't get excited yet. The block needs more work to properly do its thing in a dialogue, but at least it will no longer punish you for trying.

LS-96001: Electronically transferring a case with values selected in the Additional Assistance field will no longer stop the receiving site from starting intake on said transfer when it (the receiving site) doesn't have matching values in its Additional Assistance Types lookup list. The unknown-to-the-receiving-site values will be written into the transfer note as expected.

These nice folks have helped over 3,000 pro bono attorneys donate over 330,000 hours to help over 160,000 people since 2000. We're excited to have been part of that for 3 years this month.
