2020-03-25 Release Notes

News

Many clients have told us the External Forms module would help them serve their clients in the new offices-closed environment. We are removing the charge for this module and rolling it out to all sites. All demo sites will have the module this Thursday (2020-03-26). All live sites will have it a week from this Friday (2020-04-03). We'd like to roll it out quicker, but enabling the module requires a database update on each site.

Welcome the following organizations as they prepare to begin onboarding:

  * Communities Resist

  * Legal Clinic for the Disabled

  * Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe

Changes and Updates

Unless otherwise noted, you will see these changes on demo sites on 2020-03-26, then on live sites on 2020-04-03.

83606: Add the ability to email a note on a dynamic calendar event.

94771: Make a Guided Navigation segment set the value of a field as expected when the segment contains multiple, separate tests that can set the field's value. Previously, the field's value would only be set if the last test condition within the segment was met.

95140: The Matter Discovery Log list view element available on public defender sites has a new "Add Discover Dynamic Process" configuration item. This allows the list's "+" icon and Edit pencil icons to create and edit discovery items with a dynamic process instead of the static process.

95756: Extend the report column "Replace Null and Not Null With Value" formatting option to pivoted columns. And no, you aren't the only one saying "Huh?" But the column pivoters (both of them) are greatly relieved.

95774: Provide a friendly warning instead of an error page if: (a) the Timekeeping Object block on a case timeslip form has the option checked to hide the case search box; (b) the user is trying to enter time on a closed case; and (c) the user's role does not have permission to enter time on closed cases.
