2023-04-12 Release Notes

News

🚀 The excitement is palpable as Administer Justice and Nassau Suffolk Law Services prepare to go live.

Changes

🔄 Effective on 2023-04-13 for demo sites, then 2023-04-21 for live sites. 🔄

API Mavens should visit the always informative API Changelog.

LS-92469: Quick Case Copy and Create New Case for Client will now copy the values in the "Did any Staff Meet Client in Person" and "Disaster" fields. (No Virginia, that's not the multi-select "Disasters" field, it's the single-select one.)

LS-94198: Guided Navigation mavens have bemoaned the lack of a "Force Single Selection" option for multi-select fields, and that the toggler style of Radio Buttons is an error waiting to happen. Mavens rejoice.

LS-99173: Site using capacity tracking with Referral Hub (colloquially: ReferralHub) will be relieved that "Refer Here" links will now properly honor lack of capacity.

📊 LS-98146: You created a lovely and informative bar chart on a report. But values like "21.725000000000005" on some of your bars deeply offends your aesthetic sensibilities. Said charts will now honor your column format selections for "Round to 1 Digit" and "Round to 2 Digits", or if no format is selected, max out rounding at 3 digits (after the decimal point).

🧑🏽‍⚖️ LS-99069: Add "Primary Assignment Email" to the Gavel (formerly Documate) integration.

LS-99783: The Advanced Grants Management overtime calculation field will now accept a digit after the decimal; like "37.5".

LS-99103: Entering the Private Key for Google Shared Drive Integration correctly was a bit tricky. We've expanded the text box where you enter it to help.

⭐ LS-99682: The search performed when associating other cases will use SSN in ranking the results, but no longer exclude results that aren't exact matches.

LS-100319: Asset Override Notes dutifully entered stopped saving. Not good. Fixed.

⭐ LS-100341: You started a Quick Case Copy, checked a box to include a person in said copy, but didn't pick a Relationship (which doesn't bear the red star of requiredness, so of course you didn't select anything). Would you rather: 1) Get an error, or B) Not. We went with 2.

LS-100342: You've decided to relate other cases to a case, and you get the search results. You don't check any of the boxes to select even one case, but you do select a Relationship, then you hit Continue. Would you rather: A) get an error, or 2) Not. We went with B.

LS-100373: Sending a link to an external form via SMS lets you change the default Message Body text, but only lets you express yourself in 160 characters or less. Limit removed.

LS-100392: Mavens doing NLU stuff may find exciting, or at least handy, new information on the Admin > NLU Settings page.

LS-100401: The current Case Status will be determined by the most recent Start Date, or if there are no Start Dates, by the most recent Date Changed. This applies to sites using the static Case Status process and sites using a shiny dynamic Case Status process and form.

LS-100409: Your Guided Navigation dialog of delights and surprises conditionally displays a required field. Got it. When someone tries to move along without responding to that field, they get a validation warning. So far so good. But (you knew that was coming) the page refresh (to show the desired warning) leaves your conditional field hidden, despite the condition still being met, forcing you to re-select whatever made the required field display. You know what George Takei would say. So we fixed it.

😨 LS-100411: When posting Leave Hours, the Effective Date stopped being reflected on the leave lists as the Date of Activity and Date Posted. Not a good thing, so fixed.

LS-100428: When configuring the Enhanced Charges block, you'll notice a new bit saying "Charge and top charge are required and will be added automatically. Select the fields here to be able to change their order." Those fields must display on the front end, so if you forget to add them, we've got you covered. But wait, there's more: Top Charge will now bear a red asterisk indicating its requiredness. Also, the Charge selector could appear twice "in certain mysterious circumstances". Mystery removed.
