2023-09-20 Release Notes

News

All involved are excited as The Carl Maxey Center (Sandy Williams Justice Center) prepares to go live.

Changes

🔄 Effective on 2023-09-21 for demo sites, then 2023-09-29 for live sites. 🔄

API Mavens should check the always informative API Changelog for news and updates. (Cat GIF of the Week is still a work in progress)

LS-100072: Is that a new "Copy" icon you see in your list of Workflows? Will it do what you fervently hope it will? Workflow mavens will find out. (The new icon may not be made available in select parts of east Texas)

🗓️ LS-104001: The Due Date block that likely adorns your shiny dynamic task form gets a new "Require Due Date" configuration option.

LS-104889: The "Enable Documents to be Added by URL" option (Admin > Document Settings) will now play nice with the so-called LSC compliance blocks (colloquially: “Attestation on File”, “Retainer on File”, and “Affirmative Litigation”).

LS-105014: Up the log verbosity when Gavel returns an error or is otherwise dissatisfied with your template.

🪠 LS-105438: Lots of good plumbing work on the list view framework. We will see the fruits on the front end as fewer list view oddities and anomalies happening in the future.

LS-105916: If you set a default Due Date in the eponymous block on your dynamic task form of wonder, it will now do what you hoped and dreamed it would.

LS-105975: Putting anything but a number (like "8:") in the Start Hour field on a timeslip will now politely tell you that's not allowed. The error page seemed a bit rude.

LS-1059885: Project time on an AGM (Advanced Grants Management)-embiggened site will now honor the "Lock on Pay Period Confirmation/Verification/Distribution/Post" configuration option.

LS-106235: Your hapless online intaker says they have an adverse party that is a business/organization and fills in the name. Would you rather that transfer as the name they entered or "Party ID: 12345"? We guessed you want the name they entered. Hope you agree.

LS-103398: The LITC Issues list view started causing errors on 2023-09-15. We heart low income taxpayer advocates, so we pushed out a fix that day at 20:58 UTC.
