Pathfinder - Case Profiles
This content is geared to agencies onboarding with LegalServer. While most of this content is timeless, relevant, and all around useful, not all of it will be applicable if you are currently live with LegalServer.
Every record in LegalServer is viewed in a profile. A profile is an overview of a group of data about a Case, User, Outreach, Grant, etc. While we focus on case profiles here, you can edit almost all profiles and customize them in your system.
The main case profile is where your agency will see information about the case. This page has a hard-coded snapshot on the left hand side, and rows with tabs containing combinations of list views and fields on each. You can set up profile views to display alternatives to this main profile with a different arrangement of tabs, list views and fields, to highlight different information. You can specify a default profile based on individual user preference, user role, and the case's legal problem code.
Where to Start
- Review your main case profile- determine if any additional information needs to be displayed and what can be eliminated.
- Determine if any additional profile views are needed.
- Confirm the case- related data appears as expected on your site. Please be aware, you may need to add fields to your profile to display the imported data.
- Make the necessary customizations or communicate customizations to your LegalServer Onboarding Staff.
