2025-12-24 Release Notes

🦄 Nontypical release notes this week because LegalServer staff are off on 12/24, 12/25, and 12/26.

🚒 Correction: The 2025-12-17 Release Notes incorrectly stated that changes would be landing on live sites on 2026-01-02. That has been corrected on the internet because it was horribly wrong. But apparently those responsible will not be sacked, because of "holiday spirit".

Sites are not getting regular weekly updates this week, but that hasn't stopped our intrepid developers from putting out fires by pushing out the following fixes:

🚒 🧑‍🚒 LS-138129: Previewing PDFs within LegalServer stopped working for Firefox users after they upgraded to the latest version (146). Fix pushed out 2025-12-18 at 10:41 AM Eastern.

🚒 🧑‍🚒 LS-138154: A disconcerting error was happening in the edge case of Number of People Under 18 being null when the AMI calculation was attempted. Sharp edge smoothed on 2025-12-19 at 2:47 PM Eastern.

🚒 🧑‍🚒 LS-138150: If you noticed duplicate Timers being created, surely you are pleased that it stopped happening after 6:52 PM Eastern on 2025-12-18. It would have been slightly sooner, but a cat demanded to be fed.

🚒 🧑‍🚒 LS-138288: If you woke up on 2025-12-19 to reports with transformed columns displaying angry red text instead of your data table of goodness, you were relieved at 9:27 AM Eastern to see that problem was fixed.

🚒 🧑‍🚒 LS-138355: Adding an image to a case note on a timeslip would not always end well. Error eradicated on 2025-12-22 at 1:01 PM Eastern.

🚒 🧑‍🚒 LS-138363: Adding an Instruction element to a form or profile using the Rich Text Editor will no longer lose your carefully crafted prose after 10:50 AM on 2025-12-23.
