Reports - Name Filter Works for Some Names but not Others

Does the filter work for someone without a middle name or initial, but not if the person has such?

Then you almost certainly are on an older report that has an old version of the "Full Name (Last, First)" column. The column heading and/or filter label may have been changed.

If you look at the column properties, you can see if the column is the full name field from a Person subtable.

Delete the column, save the report, add the column back in the same way, and then add a filter for it.
