Exclude from Search Results

Exclude from Search Results is a field that site administrators can expose on matters, and for adverse parties via an option in the Adverse Party block.

What it Does

• When set to Yes on a matter, the client's person record is updated, preventing that matter from appearing in search results based on the client's name (Search > People and Search > Clients), and conflict search results.
• When set to Yes on an adverse party, prevents it from showing up in conflict search results.

What it Does Not Do

• Has no effect in LS5 Search.
• Does not hide associated cases. If a client has multiple associated cases, each case must have this field set.
• Does not hide matters in lists or reports.
• Does not prevent viewing a matter if someone clicks on a case number in a list, or a report, or if they find the case via the Search menu options like Search > Case ID, Search > Cause Number, Search > Case Title, etc.
