2023-09-27 Release Notes

News

Welcome Earl Carl Institute for Legal and Social Policy as they begin their onboarding journey of joy and discovery.

Changes

🔄 Effective on 2023-09-28 for demo sites, then 2023-10-06 for live sites. 🔄

API Mavens should check the always informative API Changelog for news and updates.

🎉 LS-61977: Report writers the world over will rejoice when they see a new icon to the right of a report title in Edit mode. The mouseover text says it all "Copy Report URL to the clipboard". And yes, Virginia, that will copy the pristine URL (no session information).

LS-66217: The Admin > Metrics page "User Activity" section gets two new metrics: "Restricted users with login permission" and "Non-restricted users with login permission". Where "restricted" is defined as users having the system Pro Bono Restricted Access user role (or the secret Contractor user role when that becomes a thing).

LS-104773: Formula Fields beta testers may be excited to see two new operands: "Today" and "Now (with time)".

LS-105503: The Admin > Workflows page gets a new "Settings" tab, and a "Workflow Time-Based Trigger Selection Limit" thereon.

LS-106291: Prevent duplicate form entry on the login page, which could result in multiple MFA emails being sent.

LS-106329: If you dismiss a case alert on your home page, should it: 1) Always go away, or 2) Go away most of the time? 4 out of 5 people polled said #1, so that's what we went with.

✂️ LS-106348: Should the Online Intake Opposing Parties block display anything that lets a hapless online intaker attempt to run a pointless conflict check? No it shouldn't. So it no longer will.

LS-106354: Demo sites were afflicted with an error trying to edit some Tab Blocks on profile pages. Deflicted.

LS-106437: The Online Intake Appointment block purports to let you limit the appointment slots shown to the hapless online intaker by Legal Problem Code. This ticket changes "purports to let you" to "actually lets you".

🏇 LS-106504: AGMers will be pleased that we fixed a timeout issue when redistributing many, many, many rows of time entries from one grant to another.

LS-106584: For the 6 people who have noticed, the Adverse Party block has an option to "Show Exclude from Search Results". If enabled, that field defaulted to "No" for an Individual adverse party, but "Yes" for an Organization adverse party 😱. The latter is not a good default (as indicated by the scream emoji), so we've flipped it to "No".
