Changes
🔄 Effective 2024-04-04 for demo sites, then 2024-04-12 for live sites. 🔄
API Mavens should check the always interesting and informative API Changelog.
LS-97188: Updating the Electronic Case Transfer Incoming or Outgoing lookup mappings for HUD 9902 Ethnicity is now an error-free experience. Fix pushed out to all sites on 2024-03-29 at 12:34 PM Eastern.
🚫 LS-98505: If a case has "Income Not Provided" the HUD Median Income block rightfully tells you that "Income has not yet been populated, Median Income API is unavailable." However, it then saves 0s (zeros) in the HUD Statewide Median Income Percentage and the HUD Area Median Income Percentage fields instead of leaving them as null. Aberrant storage fixed.
LS-105799: Accessibility: Screen readers will now announce "Filter Editor Opened" when the Show Filters icon on list views is invoked.
LS-105804: Accessibility: The word Documents at the top of the Admin > Documents page is now tagged <h1> instead of <h2>.
🎁 LS-108966: The Re-open Case block displays a Case Status selector, but has no option to let you require Case Status. Deficiency rectified.
🛂 LS-109586: Adding a case contact encourages you to search for an existing contact to add to the case. The single "Contact Name" search box only returns exact matches on first or last name. Not ideal. We've split it into First and Last name boxes that do Begins With searches.
🛂 LS-109667: You built a shiny dynamic create Contact process and set "Default Contact Creation Dynamic Process" on the Admin > Process Settings page to use it. Nice. But the "Create New Contact" button on the add case contact page is not honoring your selection and still using the not-so-shiny static create process. Not nice. The recalcitrant button will now honor your hard work.
📥 LS-109669: Does the Messages widget at the top of every page taunt you with "Messages: 172" or some other large number of unread messages? You may be intrigued by the Unread Messages list gaining checkboxes that allow dismissing some or all of them in one fell swoop.
🔢 LS-110154: The Automatic Sequential Closing Number block produces numbers, but gaps are possible. The numbers produced will not have gaps going forward after this change lands. If you have thoughts and feelings about sequential, continuous, and consecutive numbers (you know who you are), we'll wait patiently while you go finish the email.
LS-111776: Sites with the Payroll Leave Balances module often ask if they can pull a report of the information displayed in the various tabs on leave balances and leave posting pages. If that's you, you will likely be excited by the new "Leave" top level table in reports.
🙄 LS-113255: Report writers will sometimes absentmindedly send a mere user an edit mode URL. The unsuspecting user would click the link and land in edit mode. They couldn't overwrite the report, but if they tried hard enough they could end up creating a new base report. Making report writers be always mindful seemed like a herculean task, so we chose instead to display a permission denied message to the hapless user, viz: "You are not allowed to edit this report, please contact an administrator for further details".
📧 LS-113261: The Client Survey Results block on a case profile displays a nice list of external forms sent from a case. It's a shame the To Email column doesn't display the email address an external form was sent to. Shame removed.
🍒 LS-113395: The Adverse Party block has a new option "Require At Least One Common Party". It will do exactly what it sounds like.
📅 LS-113449: The "Last 6 Months" date preset in reports has been split into two presets: "Last 6 Months" is the 6 calendar months before the current month. "Last 6 Months (To the Day)" is the 6 month period ending on the current day.
🍏 LS-113577: Some of you are familiar with "stalled green bars" when uploading files. This change takes another shot at making "stalled" a thing of the past.
LS-113610: The Organization Affiliation block that likely adorns one or more of your dynamic user module forms gets a new option that lets you display a search and select box instead of a dropdown list. Possibly useful or desirable if you have, say, 18,000 active organizations. Maybe useful even with lower numbers. And even if you aren't stuck using only MS Edge.
🔧 LS-113616: You added the Financial Information block to your Guided Navigation segment of wonder, and set the "Max POP to Consider Adjusted" option to the desired value. Woe became you when you realized what you entered did not save. Woe be gone after this fix lands.
LS-113820: You may recall in a previous episode of Release Notes that we announced the minimum length for new passwords was raised from 8 to 12. Imagine our embarrassment when someone pointed out that the instruction boxes still referred to "eight".
👨🏼🚒 🚒 LS-113558: Fixed an errant logic expression error encountered on demo sites when trying to fill out an external form. Fix applied to all demo sites on 2024-03-28 at 7:14 PM Eastern.
🚒 👨🏼🚒 LS-113856: Trying to start intake on a pending case transfer was not a pleasant experience on some sites. Fixed pushed out everywhere on 2024-03-29 at 1:17 PM Eastern.
