Automated Intake Mode
Allows you to upload a file, such as a paper intake form, to Legal Server and have LegalServer extract information from the documents and populate data fields in LegalServer. Supports scans of typed and handwritten documents.
Cost: TBD. This feature is in Beta Testing.
Requirements: Must have already set up an Open AI Key for your site.
Admin Configuration Options
The Automated Intake settings and permissions are managed by administrators in the top-level Machine Learning section. Admins can enable or disable the Automated Intake Mode and its results form, as well as specify which user roles can access these features.

Note: If no permissions selected, the Automated. Intake mode will default to never show.
Begin an Automated Intake
- Select Automated Intake from the Home Profile
- Determine the intake process to use (if multiple intakes exists in the site)
- Determine the Intake Type
- Click to select a file from your device to upload.
- The Automatic Intake tool will go through the document, locating relevant information and applying it to the selected intake process.

Note: The intake process will need to exist in the site if you want the option to appear in the Automated Intake Mode.
Intake Results Form
The Intake Results Form displays the data collected from your uploaded files. Here, you'll be able to review and edit the collected data.
