Case Note Copy - Adding a Case Note to Multiple Cases
An optional Case Note Copy feature allows entering a case note on one case and copying it to other cases.
If this is enabled on your site, the Add Case Note block's configuration will have a "Copy to Case Options" section:
If you don't see that section, file a ticket (Help menu > Support Request) asking that Case Note Copy be enabled on your site. There is no cost.
Two Methods of Selecting Other Cases
The behavior differs when using or not using the "Listview" option.
Selecting Other Cases by Search and Select
If you don't check the "Listview" option, the form will display an "Also copy to ..." search and select box:
You can search and select multiple cases in "Also copy to ...". The search does not include closed cases.
NB: If your Add Case Note form is configured to allow entering time, the timeslip created is not copied.
NB: Document(s) attached to notes are not copied.
Selecting Other Cases in a List
If you check the "Listview" option, a list with checkboxes is displayed instead of the "Also copy to ..." box.
The list will only display associated cases. In the example screenshot, no pending or open cases have been associated with the current case.
