Electronic Case Transfer - Which Sites Can We Transfer To

You can only etransfer to sites that you have tagged with the type "Referral Organization", and which LegalServer staff have added additional, hidden-to-you flags.

Finding out which Sites you can Transfer to

Use the Refer to Outside Organization actions menu link on any case. Filter the list or simply look for "Yes (Supports E-Transfer)" in the Accepting Referrals column.

In this example, the site can only etransfer to one site:

Alternatively, look for the (possibly inactive) "Electronic Case Transfer Information for Organizations" report on your site. Import it from the Example Reports page if you don't have it.

Adding a Site

To enable transferring to another LegalServer site that has the etransfer module, send support@legalserver.org a link to your organization record for that site. If you don't have an organization record yet, create it first, add "Referral Organization" to its organization type(s), then send us the link.

If the site you want to transfer to does not have the etransfer module, they will need to submit a request to have it enabled and pay for the module.

Demo to Demo, Live to Live

Your demo site can only etransfer to a destination's demo site, and  your live site can only etransfer to a destination's live site.

If you want to be able to do both, you must send us the organization record link on your demo site and your live site.
