2024-11-06 Release Notes

News

Welcome the following nice folks as they begin their onboarding journeys of discovery and wonder:

Changes

πŸ”„ Effective 2024-11-07 for demo sites, then 2024-11-15 for live sites. πŸ”„

πŸͺ„ API mavens should review the always informative, interesting, and ever changing API Changelog.

⭐ ⭐ LS-111240: Have you pined for the ability to start prescreen processes on pending electronic case transfers, not just intake processes? If you have (and you know who you are), head over to the Admin > Process Settings page, where you have selected one or more "Intake processes available for transferred cases". What's that right below? Yes, Virginia, it is "Prescreen processes available for transferred cases".

πŸ™ˆ LS-118832: Do you have an Actions menu on your homepage? Is it afflicted with a category label that displays as "<h2>Actions</h2>"? It won't be after this fix lands.

βš–οΈ LS-120755: SimpleJustice allowed adding blank Questions, which caused some confusion. Confusion removed.

🦾 LS-121128: There is a new Bulk Litigation Edit block available. If that sounds intriguing, add that block to a case/matter auxiliary form and bulk edit a case's litigation records to your heart's content.

🏷️ LS-121243: Documents can now have zero or more Labels via Actions menu > Edit this document on the document profile page. Labels will be part of many (surely wonderful) features to come. The list of Labels is prepopulated for your convenience and enjoyment. Adjust to taste on Admin > Lookups > Document Label.

πŸ•ΊπŸ½πŸ•ΊπŸ½LS-121464: Create New Case for Client and Quick Case Copy were not copying the value of the Indigenous system field as promised on the Help page. Promise fulfilled.

🫸🏽 LS-121488: The Social Service Notes block will stop displaying inactive lookup values for Category, and never ever do that again.

βš™οΈ LS-121491: When mapping Lookup Export Indexes, we used to prevent you from selecting a lookup value more than once, and that was a good thing. The good thing got lost in the shuffle. We found it and are putting it back.

πŸŽ‚ LS-121512: Date of Birth is now an available column to display on your list of pending electronic case transfers (colloquially: the "Case/Matter - Electronic Case Transfers, Received" list view).

πŸ†Ž LS-121516: The Signature Attestation block has an option to allow initials instead of a signature. If your form is so configured, would you like the initials to be included in electronic case transfers? You said you would. We agree.

πŸ”‚ LS-121554: The Internal Transfers block designed to show internal transfer cases on a dynamic Cases section front was not working. Now it will. The corresponding list on a static section front was not affected.

🌊 LS-121597: The Flowblock block could refuse to display anything on cases with odd data stored, and could cause Chrome-y browsers to Aw Snap. Infinite recursion is frowned upon, so we're switching to finite recursion.

🌊 LS-121600: Improve how Flowblock displays phone numbers that have a country code entered.

⛑️ LS-121620: Workflow mavens are sad because they can no longer search for a field in a Logic Expression, but must scroll through the very long list of fields for what they seek. We found the search bits and are putting them back in.

LS-121953: We've updated the yellow note displayed by the SMS block to read "SMS Phone defaults to the Preferred Phone, if that's been set, or the Mobile Phone if there is one."

πŸš’ πŸ§‘β€πŸš’ LS-121618: ReferralHub mavens were saddened by a demo site error until 2024-10-30 at 10:42 AM Eastern. Live sites did not, and shall never, cause such despair.

πŸš’ πŸ§‘β€πŸš’ LS-121712: Halloween Trick: Flowblock's New Column option stopped making new columns on demo sites. Halloween Treat: Fixed on 2024-10-31 at 12:40 PM Eastern. Live sites were not, and shall never be, afflicted.
