2025-01-29 Release Notes

News

Everyone involved is excited that Alliance of Local Service Organizations is preparing to go live next week.

Changes

๐Ÿ”„ Effective 2025-01-30 for demo sites, then 2025-02-07 for live sites. ๐Ÿ”„

๐Ÿช„ API mavens should review the always informative, interesting, and ever changing API Changelog.

๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿพโ€โš–๏ธ LS-49428: Have you pined for the ability to not just edit, but delete, a sentence when viewing sentences via the Sentencing Information block [citation needed]? If so, surely you will enjoy seeing a "Delete this entry" button available after you click to edit a sentence. The button will politely ask if you are sure. It may also get an uppercase "E" when we restock our type cases.

๐Ÿ™ˆ LS-75149: When configuring Guided Navigation to make an API call, the password will now be masked, and display a hint of the last 4 characters.

โญ ๐Ÿ“ฑ โญ LS-106865: Had complaints from hapless clients and others that entering their date of birth for verification on their phone to get to your shiny external form is challenging (and other words)? This ticket makes it much easier to enter DOB on a phone (or other device with a small screen).

๐Ÿ‘ท๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ ๐ŸŒŠ LS-120008: If your Workflow step is "Send Survey" and contact method is "Email", wouldn't it be grand if you could specify the Subject and Body of the email? It would, so now you'll be able to.

๐Ÿข LS-122879: The Organization Client Information block gets the ability to let you search for an existing organization, and make the client on the shiny new case the one you select. Intrigued? See the new Prompt for Existing Organizations and Default Use Existing Organization configuration options.

๐Ÿ‘ท๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ LS-123556: The Contractor module gets several small but tasty improvements such as sorting contractors when creating a work order, showing units on approved invoice PDFs, and more.

๐Ÿ‘ท๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ ๐ŸŒŠ LS-123577: Should the Workflow module show you fields you can't do anything with? Of course not. So it will stop doing that.

LS-124507: The AMI Poverty Category block is not always setting the eponymous field, even when you have it placed it properly. It should. It will. Always and forever after this change lands.

๐Ÿซ€ LS-124588: Saved Reports lists will return to showing the favorite reports of the user viewing the list by default.

โคต๏ธ LS-124688: Attorneys perusing their Case Credits on their user profile are nearly always interested in the most recent credits, so we're applying a default sort on Effective Date to show them just that.

โšก LS-124699: In a previous edition of RN, we learned: "LS-123611: The Charges list view will now display the charge note (if one is entered) in a row below the basic charge information." Based on focus group testing, we are adding a Show Charge Notes configuration option to the list view. Off/unchecked by default, if you like the notes you'll need to check the new box.

๐Ÿชบ LS-124700: The Shift Funds feature of Advanced Grants Management will now only show timeslips for pay periods which are in the Distributed or Posted state.

๐Ÿ”ง ๐Ÿช› LS-124740: Starting a prescreen on a pending electronic case transfer could result in the new matter being treated as an incomplete intake, sort of. Wrenches, screwdrivers, and calipers in hand, we delved in and have things working as you would expect.

๐Ÿš’ ๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿš’ LS-124750: Pending case transfer profiles that had already had a prescreen or intake started lost the Action to "Return to Intake" or "Return to Prescreen". Fix pushed out everywhere on 2025-01-22 at 5:32 PM Eastern.

๐Ÿš’ ๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿš’ LS-124766: The venerable Services block lost the ability to add new service records to cases. Eek. Fix pushed out everywhere on 2025-01-23 at 5:31 PM Eastern.
