Changes

👉 👉 Effective 2025-08-28 for demo sites, then 2025-09-05 for live sites. 👈 👈

🪄 API mavens should review the always informative, interesting, and ever-changing API Changelog.

🔍 LS-119226: If you are transferring the primary assignment on a case you expect the Caseworker search and select to be limited to users in the office the case is assigned to. Else why is there a checkbox for "Include users from all Offices"? This ticket makes the form conform to expectations.

↔️ LS-132355: Searching for a field in the expression editor displays the results in a fairly narrow list. You'll know it if you've seen it. We're letting that list get a bit wider.

📜 LS-133579: Your report using the System Users > Current Organization Affiliation > Organization Information > Organization Member Cases (One Row Per Assignment) subtable is everything you hoped and dreamed it would be. Or it will be after this change adds Start Date and End Date to the subtable's Fields list.

🖊️ LS-133906: Note drafts will start working again on timeslips (via the Confidential Notes block). We heard your plaintive cries and apologize for the drafts you were hoping would be there that were not.

🔧 LS-133918: Stop the Batch Funding Code Update Tool from letting you change timeslips that it shouldn't.

🧑‍🏭 🪵 LS-133922: The Matter History Log block is throwing an error on some sites. If your site is afflicted, this ticket is for you.

👩🏼‍🔧 LS-133941: The Online Intake Legal Problem Code block stopped displaying the descriptive codes, like "Divorce" instead of "32 Divorce/Sep/Annulment". Not good for the hapless online applicants, so we're fixing it.

⭐ LS-134010: The Create Assignment block gets a slew of new configuration options like Default Assignee, Make Assignee Read-Only, Hide Assignee, make the Assignment Type read-only or hidden, etc.

🤖 LS-134026: Ellis is like a goldfish. If you ask a question, go to another page, and click to open it again, it starts a new chat. And it isn't remembering what you asked earlier in the same chat. By some means, possibly a Vulcan mind meld, Ellis will remember.

🗿 LS-134027: You enter a nice table in your case note and everything is left justified within cells as it should always be. Imagine the horror when you see that note in the Case Notes list with the unreadable abomination that is center justified text. Not on our watch.

📜 🚫 📜 LS-134105: Demo sites started showing every embedded report twice. It proved to be a bad user experience, so we stopped it, and ensured live sites will never, ever be afflicted.

🏠 LS-134199: Static case and client alert forms display a "Details" header and a list of users you can select. It's fun to go learn what selecting users does, but probably better overall to change the header to "Display Home Page Alert for Selected Users".

👨🏼‍🚒 🚒 LS-134068: If you arose on Friday 2025-08-22 and discovered that changing a filter in an embedded report and clicking Apply and Refresh did not in fact refresh the data, surely you were relieved to see that start working again after 08:07 AM Eastern.

👨🏼‍🚒 🚒 LS-134069: Case Specific Forms were not saving your selections for Problem Codes and Special Problem Codes on demo sites. Kind of the whole point of those forms, so we pushed out a fix on Thursday 2025-08-21 at 12:53 PM Eastern to fix demo sites and to ensure this did not afflict live sites.

👨🏼‍🚒 🚒 LS-134110: If you rely on the Case Specific Questions block to collect information during intake (or otherwise), you were likely greatly relieved that the block started showing the expected forms again on Friday 2025-08-22 after 12:19 PM Eastern.
