LS5 - Our New UI Interface: A Fresh Look with Familiar Functionality

We're excited to announce the launch of our new user interface design. This update brings a more modern, accessible, and visually appealing experience while maintaining all the functionality you rely on daily.

What's New and Improved

Our refreshed interface features:

  • Enhanced White Space: A cleaner layout that reduces visual clutter and improves focus
  • Improved Accessibility: Better contrast, readable fonts, and more intuitive navigation
  • Modern Design Elements: Updated icons, buttons, and visual cues that align with current design standards
  • Consistent Experience: Unified look and feel across all sections of the system
  • Increased Flexibility: Beneath the hood, we're transitioning to an API-driven system that will allow for incremental and ongoing changes to the UI as well as more robust API offerings

While the appearance has changed, you'll find that all tools and features continue to work as before. This update is about improving how you interact with our system, not changing what you can do with it.

Timeline and Transition

Good news: There's no rush to adapt to these changes. The current interface will remain supported through the end of 2026.

  • Demo Availability: As of November 6th, 2025 the new interface will be available on all demo sites, allowing administrators to selectively enable it for users of their choosing.
  • Live Release: Beginning November 13th, 2025 the new interface will be available on all live production environments.
  • Optional Transition: Switching to the new interface remains optional through the end of 2026, allowing you to adjust at your own pace.
  • LS4 will be supported through the end of 2026: We are committed to supporting the current version of LS4 through the end of 2026.
  • Recommendation: We encourage you to explore the new interface at your convenience to familiarize yourself with its improvements before the transition becomes necessary.
