News

March is coming in like a lamb; no go lives next week.

Changes

👉 👉 Effective 2026-02-26 for demo sites, then 2026-03-06 for live sites. 👈 👈

🪄 API mavens should review the always-informative, interesting, and ever-changing API Changelog.

🔂 LS-108728: If you've ever tried to merge a lookup value and got an error referencing "nodupes_category_subcategory", surely you will experience merge joy after this fix lands.

📜 LS-131016: A user-based filter on an embedded report can't be changed unless your user role has permission to view the user list. Undesired, so we're going to stop requiring that.

👷🏿‍♀️ LS-137317: Contractor Module types may be pleased to see the ability to pull funding code source and code fields in reports. See the new Contractor Invoices > Billing Transactions > Contractor Work Order > Work Order Funding Code subtable.

👷 LS-137655: The Admin > Contractor Settings page gets three new "Show ..." settings in the Invoice Profile Settings section that may obviate the need for ordering a 17" laptop.

🌊 LS-139287: Flowblock's Full Address field will display the Country and Postal Code if the address is international.

📜 LS-139618: The GAR Report Module block is going to be available on all sites. No support staff contact needed.

📜 LS-139663: The venerable Reports API is not always parsing date filters correctly. We've sanded down the sharp edges. If your favorite report remains afflicted after this fix lands, delete your report filter and re-add it to experience joy.

🪵 LS-139679: The much loved Matter History Log block will stop giant blobs of text (we're looking at you Transferred Intake Guided Navigation Logs) from ruining the display. Scrollbars will be provided if you want to read the blobs.

🤖 LS-139401: The Admin > AI & Machine Learning Settings page gets a nice Test Model Configurations section.

📝 LS-140016: When you assign a user to a case there is a nice "Note" box. Not so much when you are assigning an organization to a case. Parity will be achieved.

📧 LS-140099: We're going to do things that aren't strictly required by standards, but increasingly are required by Google or it will reject an email as unworthy. (Already on demo sites, so this will hit live sites this Friday 2026-02-27)

🙈 LS-140170: If you restrict viewing matters by office and or program, a user will no longer be blocked from viewing an incomplete intake if their office or program matches the Intake Office or Intake Program. While working on this, HI (colloquially: the little gray cells) recommended some improvements to the "not allowed to view" messages, so we're going to do that.

🚷 LS-140251: "Failed to connect to file conversion service" is not what you want to see after clicking the Save as PDF icon in the file manager. So you won't. After this fix lands.

🧑‍🧒 LS-140347: "We do waivers and it would help to see the number of adults and children, not just the total household size on the review form. And we might have a spare coupon for a free flight to Honolulu." Say no more.

🖋️ LS-140493: If you can "Transcribe this file" from the file manager, the modal will now tell you how many minutes of transcribing your site has left for the month instead of how many files.

📅 LS-140552: A Calender tab on a home page could get you a "Tab Load Failed", or an error page. We'll stop both.

🚒 👨🏼‍🚒 LS-140252: SharePoint issues aplenty. Resolved.

🚒 👨🏼‍🚒 LS-140313: Has editing some of your Guided Navigation segments of wonder on your demo site left you staring at the spinning arrows? Try again tomorrow on demo. Live sites are not, and shall not be, afflicted.

🚒 👨🏼‍🚒 LS-140338: Sad because you couldn't create an new outreach record on your demo site? Many were, until 2026-02-23 at 11:56 AM Eastern when this was fixed. Live sites never suffered this indignity.

🚒 👨🏼‍🚒 LS-140357: Excel export issues aplenty. Resolved.

LS5

Are you testing LS5? You may find the following useful, interesting, or both.

🫵 LS-138340: The Set Priorities and Objectives block will now work as well in LS5 as it does in LS4.

🏥 LS-138402: Clinic Event Appointment profile pages sport some useful links in the side bar in LS4, but those disappeared along with the side bar in LS5. We found them and put them at the top of the page.

📄 LS-138511: If you've  been waiting for the Transfer bulk action on case notes to work in LS5, surely you'll remember today as a red letter day.

🖱️ LS-139013: The Verify Time list in LS5 gets a working Supervisor filter and checkboxes (colloquially: row selectors).

🚭 LS-139156: Should the Help > Support Request form tell you both fields are required in LS5? It should. It will.

🔍 LS-139614: If you've missed the ability to search Notes in "Search anything ..." (colloquially: omnisearch) in LS5, surely you will be pleased to see "Notes" in the search window under "Advanced Search Only".

🔃 LS-139693: Relating a case to another case is a non-starter in LS5. LS4 parity will be achieved.

🖱️ LS-140123: Wouldn't it be grand if the Outcomes V2 dropdown showed you values in LS5? It would be. It will be.

📊 LS-140147: Project timeslips are getting working selectors in LS5.

⭐ ⭐ LS-140220: We unleashed a developer with the remit to fix as many things as they could (in 4 hours anyway). And they did. Too many to list, but tabs having a tabbier appearance and no more horizontal scrolling when configuring a Flowblock were highlights at the RN Editorial Staff meeting.

👀 LS-140223: Are the rumors of higher contrast darker text in list views that meets WCAG AAA rating true? This ticket says so.

🖱️ LS-140263: You can configure the Outcomes v2 blocks to only show outcomes associated with the case's legal problem codes. Wouldn't it be nice if LS5 honored that? It would be. It will be.
