News

๐Ÿš€ Everyone involved is excited as Earl Carl Institute for Legal and Social Policy prepares to go live next week.

Changes

๐Ÿ”„ Effective 2024-03-21 for demo sites, then 2024-03-29 for live sites. ๐Ÿ”„

API Mavens should check the always interesting and informative API Changelog.

LS-80244: Your site has multiple language support, so wouldn't it be simply splendid if the Generic Lookup Selector block had a "Label" for each language you have? It would be, and will be.

LS-108796: You may have never added a Group case contact to a case. But if you have, you noticed you can't filter the main Contacts list by group name, you can't merge a group contact, and you can't find a group contact via Search > Contacts. Shortcomings resolved.

โคด๏ธ LS-111542: Sites that are part of a state/group/cabal/consortium that sling cases around via etransfer may be intrigued by the new top level "Case Transfer History" table available in reports. Will that history follow a case around? Yes it will. Will it grow as the case gets transferred hither and yon? Yes it will.

LS-111756: Flowblock configurers may be excited to see the ability to highlight some field values or hide some fields. See the new "Highlight" and "Hide" checkboxes, and the "When Value Equals" box for each, when you click the diminutive blue edit pencil.

LS-111789: You've got a multiselect lookup field on your report. You need to know which records don't have any value in that field, so you select "Is Null" in your filter, but do not get the expected results. Now you will.

๐Ÿ” LS-112042: We are increasing the minimum password length from 8 to 12. This will not require anyone to change their existing password, but will be enforced the next time they change their password, and of course for newly created users.

๐Ÿ—’๏ธ ๐Ÿ“ƒ LS-112083: The venerable Add Case Note block can be configured (and usually is) to allow documents to be uploaded on the same form. If you have a burning desire to classify said documents, you will certainly be pleased by the new options "Show Document Type", "Read Only Document Type", and the "Default Document Type" selector.

๐Ÿ•ฐ๏ธ LS-112465: You entered a timeslip on April 1 at 10PM in Utah. If you look at a report that includes Date Entered with the Format set to "Date Only", do you expect to see April 1 or April 2? We agree. Also known as "Date Only" formatting a full datetime with tz value is now time zone aware. NB: If you have this situation on a report now, and want immediate relief, set the Format to "Date and Time Only", which is time zone aware.

LS-112589: Should a hapless user trying to do something with documents get an error popup saying "Slow Down Please reduce your request rate"? No they should not. And never, ever will again.

LS-112737: "I don't like having duplicate deadline-based alerts on my home page. Please make it stop." Since you said please, we'll stop doing that.

๐Ÿ’ฐ LS-112930: If Assets aren't required on your form (๐Ÿ˜ฑ) , do you expect no selection at all, or a selection with an empty dollar amount, to be Asset Eligible = N/A or Asset Eligible = No? If you expect "No" you are currently disappointed, but will not be after this change lands.

๐Ÿ“ง LS-113055: If you send an email to a case with a zero byte file attachment, should we process the email without the attachment, or consider that a situation too strange to deal with and not process it? We think you'll agree with our choice.

๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿผโ€๐Ÿš’ ๐Ÿš’ LS-113197: Sending an external form stopped working around 4:00 PM Eastern last Thursday (2024-03-14). A few people noticed. Fixed everywhere that day at 4:38 PM Eastern.

๐Ÿš’ ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿผโ€๐Ÿš’ LS-113219: Several online intake demo sites had broken intakes on Thursday (2024-03-14). All issues resolved by 5:13 PM Eastern that day.
