2026-08-12 Release Notes

News

It's just too hot for any go lives.

Changes

πŸ‘‰ πŸ‘‰ Effective 2026-08-13 for demo sites, then 2026-08-21 for live sites. πŸ‘ˆ πŸ‘ˆ

πŸ§™ API mavens should review the always-informative, interesting, and ever-changing API Changelog.

πŸ”— LS-143999: You enjoy the Hyperlink block, but wish it was available in more modules. Wish no more.

🌊 LS-145197: You want an Assignment Type filter for your Workflows that send a reminder. If that's you, you'll be excited that we're adding a β€œRecipient Assignment Types” multi-select under the current β€œRecipient Types” field.

πŸ“‹ LS-145854: The Disposition block only has 62 configuration options, so we're adding 3 more: Hide Disposition, Hide Accepted By, and Hide Date Opened. (A few of you have already left this page to go count. You know who you are. We know who you are. We'll be waiting for your email.)

πŸ§‘β€πŸ”§ LS-145927: The Internal Transfers list has a "Days Since Last Activity" column that is actually "days since last timeslip". We're updating it to count adding time, a case note, an activity record, or a service/phase record as "activity".

πŸ“‹ LS-145936: We're adding PAI Time as a column and filter on the Question time list.

πŸ™ˆ LS-146873. Someone forgot to announce that the Financial Information block has been relabeled "Financial Information v2026.07". You do not need to update anything on your site, it's just a label change. And yes, the forgetful RN staffer has been sacked.

πŸ—ƒοΈ LS-147357: "You do not have permission to move <filename>" will be replacing "An error occurred while moving items".

🧣 LS-147433: Case Bundle user role permissions are sitting at the top of the page in no-categorization land. They will be categorized.

πŸ“œ LS-147435: County filters in reports can be confusing if your site has active counties for multiple states. Clarity is on the way. Even for the Pulaski Counties.

⚑ LS-147642: We're adding the Supplemental Referral Notes field to the information that is transfered in electronic case transfers.

⬆️ LS-147643: The Custom Lookups list will start being sorted by Name. Instead of nothing.

🦚 LS-147648: The Admin > Extensions page just keeps getting prettier and more functional. Buttons that do things are in the not too distant future, but no spoilers.

πŸ–±οΈ LS-147732: Across the ages we have gazed upon the Process Management page and wondered why Profiles have clickable names but all others do not. In the future, no one need wonder.

πŸ”— LS-147771: We're adding a "Users Links" side/action element in case you want to replace the static menu on your shiny dynamic Users section front.

πŸ”• LS-147819: The nascent Marketplace card jumped out of the Admin page sandbox. If you never noticed it, just as well. If you noticed it and frantically clicked on it because you had to know what it is, apologies. All in due time.

LS5

Are you and/or your staff testing LS5? You may find the following useful, interesting, or both.

πŸ” LS-139087: "Search anything ..." in LS5 (a/k/a Omnisearch or Omniscient Search) is honoring the plethora of existing Search Settings. We've added a nice "LS5 Omnisearch Searchable Fields and Display" section to that page. Even better, we're adding a Gear icon in the search window (for admins) and messaging (for everyone) if an option isn't enabled.

🍞 LS-139489: When editing or viewing a lookup list, there is no breadcrumb link in LS5 to go back to the main Lookups page like there is in LS4. LS4 breadcrumb parity will be achieved.

πŸ” LS-142614: Case timeslip search results in LS5 do not include each case's LPC like LS4 does. Search results being embiggened.

πŸͺœ LS-143324: "Add Intake Notes" in the Steps slide out of an intake process, and the pencil in a box icon below the "x/y" icon, do not reflect the current Intake Notes, nor update them. NB:  The steps indicator is being moved up into the sticky breadcrumbs bar and made 34.5% prettier, and the Intake Notes link has been fixed.

🎹 LS-144127: Choose Recipient when emailing a note in LS5 is confusing and requires mouse clicks and noticeably more keyboarding activity than LS4. Click reduction on the way.

πŸ–±οΈ LS-147360: When editing a profile, Tab Block elements don't have the handy "Edit" link next to them in LS5. We found the links and are bringing them back.

🍬 LS-147404: The Actions menu in LS5 has some annoying anomalies like category names not wrapping and HTML tags appearing in "Options" categories. Nomalinazation on the way.

πŸ‘“ LS-147543: Choose Recipient button on Add Case Note form stops displaying anything in LS5 if you first upload a file than click to upload another. The button will not get shy and hide itself.

β˜‘οΈ LS-147548: Dropdown lists that have a "Select All" option are, to quote the ticket, "wonky". De-wonkification is on the way.

🎹 LS-147496: LS5 behavior when using the keyboard to select values for lookup/drodown fields isn't consistent. We're adding a hefty dose of consistency, with more to come.

🟦 LS-147635: Can you ever have too many blue buttons? Turns out you can. We're making a lot of secondary buttons white with a dark border. Think the "Choose Recipients" button on an Add Case Note form. Don't worry, the submit buttons like "Continue" will still be a rich, deep blue.

πŸͺͺ LS-147681: The Government Generated ID block works in LS5, but the appearance is lacking. Beautification on the way.

πŸ’‡ LS-147685: Many improvements to the styling and overall look and feel when you choose "Ls5" (sic) as the External Form Theme for your online intake or external forms. You should test your specific forms before unleashing this theme on your hapless applicants and clients with this theme.

πŸ‘©β€πŸ”¬ LS-147707: We're fixing a class of list filter errors that display a "Reload Page" button that doesn't help. One example of many is trying to filter the Users list by User Role.

πŸƒ LS-147709: Empty LS5 list views lack an empty message in Cards mode. Cards will be dealt.

πŸ“  LS-147775: The "X" to close the Help > Support ticket slide out, slide over, side popper, window on the right (take your pick) is a nearly invisible light gray on blue. The "X" in a circle with a white background that is on the way is orders of magnitude more visible. Whether "Support ticket" will get a an uppercase "T" remains to be seen.
