2024-12-11 Release Notes

News

Excitement levels are high as the following nice folks prepare to go live on Monday:

Changes

πŸ”„ Effective 2024-12-12 for demo sites, then 2024-12-20 for live sites. πŸ”„

πŸͺ„ API mavens should review the always informative, interesting, and ever changing API Changelog.

πŸš’ πŸš’ LS-122877: Covered in the API Changelog, but adding here as well. For sites using InCert, a new "API Guided Navigation" user role permission is required for the process endpoints. This is a breaking change. If you do not grant the permission, InCert will stop working properly.

βœ… βœ… LS-107564: We've added Interpreter Needed and Preferred Pronouns to the fields that are copied by Create New Case for Client and Quick Case Copy.

πŸ—’οΈ LS-121656: You've got a note draft. You look at it and decide the "Save Note and Discard Draft" button is just what you want. The Subject field isn't marked as required, so you skip it, then are confused by the message that says your draft can't be saved because "No subject specified". Rude, and wrong, so we'll stop saying that and requiring a Subject. Bonus: If your note draft is linked to a case, we will now land you on that case instead of the homepage.

πŸ•ΊπŸ½ LS-121705: Forms with the HUD Median API block will no longer wait for the external API response before loading. If we are waiting on a response, those fields will display "loading ...". This gives users the option to wait or to continue on with the knowledge that the data needed hasn't been retrieved. LS-121706: The AMI Poverty Category block gets the same treatment.

πŸ“œ LS-121957: Ever wondered which fields were on your Guided Navigation dialogues of wonder? If yes, you may be interested in a new Guided Navigation Dialogue (One Row Per Dialogue) subtable available on a report based on the top level Fields table. Will it let you see which dialogue of wonder each field is on? Will the Dialogue Name column be a clickable link? Seems likely.

πŸ”§ LS-122093: An Advanced Grant Filter on Total Household Size will no longer assert things like 2 = 2 is false.

πŸ“œ LS-122126: A new "SMS Log" top level table is available in reports.

πŸ“† LS-122311: The calendar Day, Week, and Month views have filters. Wouldn't it be grand if they also had a multi-select Event Type filter as well? 100% of survey respondents ticked the "OMG Yes!" box.

πŸ“« LS-122328: The Address block can ask if the client is institutionalized, and if so, show a list of organizations for Institutionalized At. The block will now honor your Short Name field changes, for example to "In Jail" and "Jailed At".

🌊 LS-122332: Should the Litigation field in a Flowblock block display the court and judge from the first litigation record entered on a case, or the most recently entered? We went with most recent. If there are multiple litigation records with multiple judges, a bulleted list of All Judges will also display.

πŸ”§ LS-122560: Should the funding code on a case timeslip pay attention to an Advanced Grant Filter for the Timekeeping module, like Caseworker is a specified list of users? Yes it should. And it shall.

⭐ LS-122767: The Custodial Status block gets a slew of new configuration options: "Default Institution From Client Address", "Show Related Charges", "Show Details", and "Show End Date".

☎️ LS-122785: Trying to display international phone numbers on your case profile? Frustrated by the lack of a "Do not format" option for the All Phone Numbers field? Irked that the "Do not format" option in the Applicant Phone #s block does not work on the profile? Surely you will enjoy both wrongs having been righted.

πŸ§‘πŸΎβ€βš–οΈ LS-122779: The "Gavel Templates" list view on a case profile will now load noticeably faster.

πŸ—’οΈ LS-123005: "Notes" is now an available column and filter on the "Reports - Base Reports" list view that surely adorns your shiny dynamic Reports section front.
