2026-01-28 Release Notes
News
πΏ Team Onboarding are doing their stretches and loading up on carbs to get ready for a triple header on 2/9.
Changes
π π Effective 2026-01-29 for demo sites, then 2026-02-06 for live sites. π π
πͺ API mavens should review the always-informative, interesting, and ever-changing API Changelog.
π LS-138269: If you have a sectioned report and use the PDF output option on said report, surely you will be pleased to see your sectioning reflected in the PDF once this change lands.
π LS-138435: CSV output in a report will honor "List Separator (for multiple values in a cell)" from the Attributes section of the report.
π LS-138525: When you select "Begin Intake" on a pending case transfer, do you have a bountiful list of intake processes to choose from? Would it be helpful if that list of intakes was alphabetized? You said yes. We agree. Bonus: We'll do the same if you use "Begin Prescreen".
π€ LS-138885: The Client Survey Send Request block confusingly requires you to pick a Default External Process to honor your Default Survey Process selection. No one knows why, but we're going to stop it regardless.
π LS-138949: If you've seen "error: Could not find report object with ID: 38" in the Error Log on your Scheduled Reports page, you'll be pleased (or at least relieved) that we're improving something about the oidIndex that will solve this problem.
β LS-139017: The Matter History Log will do a better job of clearly presenting null "β" values and "No" values in the Changes column for Yes/No fields (colloquially: boolean fields).
π€ LS-139055: You should be able to generate an Automated Case Summary even if a case has a note with no Date Posted, so we're going to stop throwing an error in that situation.
π π¨πΌβπ LS-139286: Trying to edit a timeslip with the Question block on it was a sad experience. Fixed pushed out at 1:51 PM Eastern on 2026-01-22.
π π¨πΌβπ LS-139337: Some of your calls to Guided Navigation APIs were not being answered. Fix pushed out at 9:53 AM Eastern on 2026-01-23.
LS5
Are you testing LS5? You may find the following useful, interesting, or both.
π¬ LS-136685: After entering a zip code in LS5, you hoped it would update the state value correctly, just like LS4 does. Hope will be fulfilled.
π«£ LS-137698: The Lead/Member Cases (Compact) block and the Other Cases for this Client (Compact) block get Expand buttons in LS5 so you can see what secrets lie within.
π LS-138549: The "Search anything ..." search in LS5 will start searching a plethora of new things, such as Docket Number, Case Title, Cause Number, SSNs, DOBs, and more. Omnisearch seems to be the leading name for this feature, with Suche Alles running a close second, and Chercher Quoi a distant third.
πΊοΈ LS-139045: The County field on an outreach record in LS5 is not limiting the initial selection to counties tagged "Inside Service Area". Tag honorment on the way.
π° LS- 139146: LS5 should probably display the financial block Income, Percentage of Poverty, and Family Size like LS4 does. So it will.
πΌ LS-139149: Associating a case to an outreach record isn't a rewarding experience in LS5. Associate cases and be rewarded after this fix lands.
π΄π½ LS-139158: The Case Matter - Cases list view that powers nearly every Cases section front (colloquially: the main case page/tab) gets a Primary Assignment filter in LS5. 4 out of 5 users surveyed said we should do it.
