2026-03-18 Release Notes
News
No go lives planned for next week, so let's have some history.
When did women finally get the right to vote?
- Before 1776: Women had a vote in several of the colonies in what would become the United States. Wait for it. But by 1807 every state constitution had denied women even limited suffrage.
- 1906: Finland (first in Europe to grant full voting rights).
- 1916-1918: Canada (provincial rights began 1916; federal rights for most women achieved in 1918).
- 1918: Poland.
- 1920: United States (19th Amendment to the US Constitution ratified).
- 1928: United Kingdom (full equal suffrage).
- 1971: Switzerland. (A 1959 referendum on women's suffrage was rejected by the majority (67%) of Switzerland's men.)

Changes
👉 👉 Effective 2026-03-19 for demo sites, then 2026-03-27 for live sites. 👈 👈
🪄 API mavens should review the always-informative, interesting, and ever-changing API Changelog.
💳 LS-86896: Case credits can have 3 numbers after a decimal point. But you can only enter 2 in a Charge lookup Default Case Credits field. We could reduce case credits to 2, or increase the lookup value field to 3. We think you'll like our choice.
🔧 LS-124393: When reopening a case, the Program field defaults, but not always as everyone expects. We're going to default it in this order: the Program on the current primary assignment, the Program on the intake assignment, or the Program stored directly on the case/matter if there are no assignments.
⬇️ LS-132265: The Data Export feature lets you retrieve results via API. Now you'll be able to see and retrieve them via the Documents > Data Export folder, if you are so inclined.
⭐ 📜 LS-136932: AGM mavens will be tickled pink when they edit one of their System Users reports and see two new subtables: FTE Percentage (One row per FTE record) and FTE Percentage Most Recent Value.
💬 ⭐ LS-137775: If you send messages about discovery, prepare to: 1) Bask in a message list that includes clickable client name/case links, 2) Be amazed when those links take you to discovery profile pages, and 3) Experience the joy of a link to the case at the top of the discovery profile.
👀 LS-139921: We're extending Profile Views to clinics, clinic events, and users.
⭐ 🔐 LS-140767: Our built-in Multifactor Authentication is a security boon, but not being able to use it for users with the either the Pro Bono Restricted Access or Contractor roles is not so boon-y. You know what we're going to say, right? Yep, MFA will work with any user role after this change lands. Bonus: After completing MFA enrollment, you'll land on the home page instead of your user profile, ready for business.
📅 📄 LS-140692: You can upload files to a calendar event, and then see and delete them on the event profile via a bespoke and outdated documents section. The File Manager can now take over for our old companion.
📜 LS-141521: Embedding a report on a clinic event profile and choosing to Restrict to Clinic Event, as you would normally do, will no longer cause the report to throw an error if a multi-clinic appointment is involved.
LS5
Are you testing LS5? You may find the following useful, interesting, or both.
🏠 LS-137606: The older AMI Tables admin page has sidebar links in LS4, but LS5 has no sidebar. What to do? Move those links into the Rocket menu.
⏲️ LS-139744: The Timer gets a coat of LS5 paint.
🔨 LS-140688: Should the Other Cases for this Client (Compact) block actually associate cases in LS5 if you use the Associate link? Unequivocally yes, so we're removing everything that is equivacatory.
🔍 LS-140672: Searching and selecting a case on a case timeslip form in LS5 doesn't populate the funding code from the case you selected. Does not spark joy. Joy is being added.
⏳ LS-140674: Adding time via the Add Case Note block's mini-timeslip form isn't populating the funding code from the case's funding in LS5. LS4 parity will be achieved.
😨 LS-140994: "We tried to verify time in LS5 and we noticed errors and things." Heard. Fix on the way.
😨 LS-141006: "I attempted to update the recipient list in a scheduled report in LS5. It said there are no email addresses selected but I know I input the email address." Indeed you did (same thing happened to us). Errant claim that there are no email addresses is being rectified.
🪁 LS-140470: Search Anything for "frank" will now find the adverse party Ben Franklin (and others).
🎁 LS-141505: "The Process Button block puts a thing on the page, but it doesn't work in LS5. Craige said to file a ticket." And you did. We've put a bow on a fix and it is headed your way.
👋 LS-141524: "The Snapshot Top block has been deprecated in LS5. We advise site administrators to use Flowblock as a replacement." That's what you'll see if you try it.
