2026-07-08 Release Notes
News
🚀 Be excited about Western New York Law Center going live next week.
🚀 Welcome all the nice folks at these organizations as they begin their onboarding journeys of wonder and discovery:
Changes
👉 👉 Effective 2026-07-09 for demo sites, then 2026-07-17 for live sites. 👈 👈
🪄 API mavens should review the always-informative, interesting, and ever-changing API Changelog.
⚠️ API mavens must read, understand, and follow the information in the API Token Security Change email sent to the Siteadmins and API Integration lists on 2026-07-08.
👍 LS-142739: The Income Eligible evaluator in the Financial Information block wrongly sets that field to Yes if percentage of poverty is over 999%. We're fixing that, and also allowing 6 digits in the "Max. POP to consider Adjusted" configuration.
🏷️ LS-143224: We're changing the label Intake Type to Automated Intake Type when you start an Automated Intake. See what we did there?
👩⚖️ LS-144284: A large percentage of judges have middle names, so when you are perusing the list while creating an organization assignment on a case we'll start including them.
⚖️ LS-145408: Should a SimpleJustice volunteer be blocked from expressing interest on a case unless the Position field is set on their profile? Of course not. So we'll stop doing that.
🗃️ LS-145863: The File Manager on a Service/Phase profile does not show you documents uploaded to said service record. But it will. And will behave in that context as you would expect.
🎡 LS-145933: ReferralHub sites will appreciate the Online Intake Referral Organization List block getting a new Show Alternates option. If you don't want to show alternate organizations, unchecking that option is far clearer than having to put a 0 in the number of alternates to show.
🛑 LS-145992: The Current Assignments list view requires you to pick a process even though "Show timekeeping action column" is not checked. Rude. Politeness is being added.
📜 LS-146054: We're starting to extend the shiny but still optional New Report Interface into the data table and other elements. And extending it to Run Mode, so nota bene that regular people will be affected, not just report editors.
🙈 LS-146083: Should a missing file on a source case prevent you from starting intake on an electronic case transfer? Surely you will agree with our decision.
🎹 LS-146117: We're making the Actions menu a friend of keyboardists. Get out your Tab key. And of course Shift+Tab. You'll like what they do. Fun: If you search inside the menu and get only one result, just press Enter.
🖱️ LS-146123: Have you ever made a change on the Process Settings admin page, scrolled all the way to the bottom of that page, then felt sad at the lack of a Save and Stay on Page button? Us too.
👩🔬 LS-146191: The Grant Filters list view is nice. It will be even nicer now that we're fixing the Edit links.
LS5
Are you and/or your minions testing LS5? You may find the following useful, interesting, or both.
⏳ LS-140511: If you uncheck MyTime in a user role's Viewable User Stripes section, you expect the MyTime widget to go away. Now. But it doesn't in LS5. Immediacy being added.
🌎 LS-141920: The Immigration Status block Supporting Documentation dropdown does not populate in LS5 in a Guided Navigation dialogue. Navigators prepare to rejoice.
🗿 LS-143832: Embedded report on a home page tab repeats multiple times when, in LS5, you click on other tabs, then return to the tab with the embedded report. Repetition will be stopped, ceased, halted, discontinued, and the kibosh put upon.
⏱️ LS-144090: Timeslip submit buttons require two clicks in Safari in LS5. One click wonder on the way.
🚨 LS-145114: Domestic Violence block is showing Relation to Abuser field in LS5 even if the initial question is answered "No". No show it will (will not?).
🏥 🌊 LS-145576: Clinic workflow mavens will surely be excited by a new Days Since Date trigger and Add Related Module Note step.
5️⃣ LS-145993: We're adding Enable LS5 Financial Block to the Admin > Site Settings page. If you guessed that it will render the Financial Information block in LS5, you're getting the hang of this stuff. NB: This is off by default even if you are all in on LS5.
🦾 LS-145994: The shiny new Yes/No buttons are indeed shiny, but accessible? Not so much. Accessibility is on the way.
🍀 LS-146000: If a client's name contains an apostrophe, should the breadcrumbs in LS5 drop the apostrophe and everything after it? That'd be a no.
🧠 LS-146051: Subtle, but pleasing, touches for list views. You may not consciously notice them, but your visual cortext will appreciate the cognitive load reduction.
🖱️ LS-146068: The shiny new LS5 interface for user role permission pages rolls out to live sites on 2026-07-17. You may recall it has been on demo sites since 2026-07-02.
🥖 LS-146207: When you edit a process in LS5, do you wish that "Manage Processes" in the breadcrumbs was a working, clickable link? Some wishes do come true.
