Changes

👉 👉 Effective 2026-04-23 for demo sites, then 2026-05-01 for live sites. 👈 👈

🪄 API mavens should review the always-informative, interesting, and ever-changing API Changelog.

🗃️ LS-142486: We're replacing the File Manager Create Subfolder button with a Create New button that lets you create a new subfolder, but also a new DOCX file or a new Markdown file.

📜 LS-142623: Filtering a report by the Document File Size field works great. Until someone uploads a file that is over 4 GB. Getting a working filter will require removing that field from the report and re-adding it and the filter after this fix lands.

LS5

Are you testing LS5? You may find the following useful, interesting, or both.

📄 LS-141920: LS5 learns how to display Supporting Documentation when that option is chosen in the  Immigration Status block.

☎️ 🔍 LS-142481: Search Anything in LS5 learns that humans think of phone numbers as "555-1212" and "555-555-1212" and don't really want to search for "5551212" and "5555551212".

LS-142641: We previously promised that LS5 would stop displaying empty Political Boundaries fields if you have the GIS module. Then we got an example of promise unfulfilled. We're super extra sure we've got it this time.

LS-142643: LS5 learns to play nice with the Disposition block by: 1) Honoring the "Default Date Opened to Today (Overriding)" option; 2) Not presenting a never-ending spinner below the Funding Code field; and, 3) Not displaying the additional assignment fields unless and until someone clicks the "Show" button.

🔢 LS-142645: Entering a decimal in the Time Spent field on a timeslip with an iPhone isn't currently possible in LS5. But it will be after this fix lands. Currently works fine on Android phones and most Nokia flip phones if you have either handy.

📋 LS-142683: Have you been wondering when the user role permission page is going to display in LS5? Wonder no more. Shiny.
