Changes
π π Effective 2026-04-23 for demo sites, then 2026-05-01 for live sites. π π
πͺ API mavens should review the always-informative, interesting, and ever-changing API Changelog.
βοΈ π LS-116487: Is +1-555-555-1212 the same as 555-555-1212? and (555) 555-1212? Now our APIs and LS4 search features think so.
π β LS-142098: If you use the Case Data > Organization Referred To subtable in reports to look at etransfer information, surely you'll be pleased to see a new field available to show the destination site's Matter/Case ID (if that site at least started an intake on the case you so lovingly referred).
π±οΈ LS-142207: Associating other cases with a case you are looking at presents a nice list of possible cases. It even includes a check all checkbox at the top. Too bad that often causes an error. Until this fix lands, you can continue checking the box on multiple rows in the list to accomplish your goal.
π LS-142484: Flowblock has a Primary Advocate field. That field has an option to Show Calendar Link. That link will now open to that person's calendar in a new browser tab.
ποΈ LS-142486: We're replacing File Manager's Create Subfolder button with a Create New button that lets you create a new subfolder, but also a new DOCX file or a new Markdown file.
π LS-142612: The AMI Poverty Category block gets a new configuration option to select the month for the start of the new HUD Income Limits. Defaults to April for most years. Switch this to May to get April 2026 intakes to use the 2025 values.
π LS-142623: Filtering a report by the Document File Size field works great. Until someone uploads a file that is over 4 GB. Getting a working filter will require removing that field from an existing report and re-adding it and the filter after this fix lands.
π³ LS-142952: The Task Note block has an option called Allow Adding Note from Profile. It does indeed display an Add Note button, which displays all the nice note things, except a button to actually save the note. Critical button is on the way.
π π§βπ LS-142956: Do you have more than 20 SharePoint documents that you'd like to see on a case? We made that possible again. Fix pushed out at 2:55 PM Eastern on 2026-04-15.
π π§βπ LS-143126: You tried to enter "Detention Center East" in your report filter, but couldn't get a space to show up after "Detention". It wasn't you. It wasn't your keyboard. It was us. Fixed pushed out at 01:42:37 PM Eastern on 2026-04-22.
LS5
Are you testing LS5? You may find the following useful, interesting, or both.
π£οΈ LS-140140: LS5 learns all about wrapping text instead of rudely cutting off your carefully crafted Announcements prose.
π LS-140604: LS5 learns how to collect, store, and display Email Recipients on your Scheduled Reports.
π₯ LS-140766: The checkboxes to select users on the Edit Multiple Users Simultaneously page are not doing what you expect in LS5 (assuming you expected them to work). Expectations will be met.
π LS-141127: LS5 achieves parity with LS4 regarding the Sharepoint Folder field in a Flowblock displaying a clickable link to the case's folder in Sharepoint.
π LS-141920: LS5 learns how to display Supporting Documentation when that option is chosen in the Immigration Status block.
β³ LS-142151: We previously promised in LS-140325 that if your timeslip has the Billable Fields block on it LS5 should display the same things that LS4 does. It did. Then it didn't and doesn't. Now it will again.
βοΈ π LS-142481: The "Search anything ...." box (colloquially: Search Anything) in LS5 learns that humans think of phone numbers as "555-1212" and "555-555-1212" and don't really want to search for "5551212" and "5555551212".
πΊοΈ LS-142641: We previously promised that LS5 would stop displaying empty Political Boundaries fields if you have the GIS module. Then we got an example of promise unfulfilled. We're super extra sure we've got it this time.
βοΈ LS-142643: LS5 learns to play nice with the Disposition block by: 1) Honoring the "Default Date Opened to Today (Overriding)" option; 2) Not presenting a never-ending spinner below the Funding Code field; and, 3) Not displaying the Additional Assignment fields unless and until someone clicks the "Show" button.
π’ LS-142645: Entering a decimal in the Time Spent field on a timeslip with an iPhone isn't currently possible in LS5. But it will be after this fix lands. Currently works fine on Android phones and most Nokia flip phones if you have either handy.
βοΈ LS-142668: LS5 will be much better about properly displaying the Applicant Phone #s block the way you've configured it. Not requiring phone numbers you haven't marked as required, for example.
