2026-04-15 Release Notes
News
π All involved are excited as Christian Legal Aid prepares to go live next week.
Changes
π π Effective 2026-04-16 for demo sites, then 2026-04-24 for live sites. π π
πͺ API mavens should review the always-informative, interesting, and ever-changing API Changelog.
β LS-139972: The Case Data > Assignments - Combined Individual and Organization subtable in reports gets a handy virtual field "Full Person (Last, First) / Group Name".
β LS-141614: We're adding Role Type as a column and filter on the Users list view.
β LS-141805: Is Field Validation really coming to Guided Navigation? All signs point to Yes.
β LS-141832: The Clinic block on a clinic event form shows you a lot of information about the clinic. Whether you want to see it or not. Flexibility is on the way in the form of several Show and Require block configuration options.
π¦Ύ LS-142004: Accessibility: More under the hood accessibility improvements to enhance our WCAG AA compliance.
π©βπ¬ LS-142305: The Prescreen Office filter on the Case/Matter - Callbacks list view is getting fixed. The "Office" column in that list is still the Callback Office.
π« LS-142506: Sites doing address validation via the GIS module may recall that we had to change the service used to validate addresses effective 2026-03-20. Someone with a high attention to detail quotient discovered that a street address beginning with a 2, 7, or 8 was being considered valid regardless of what else followed. We will stop that from happening.
ποΈ LS-142617: "We really, really need to be able to drop files on specific folders in the File Manager without opening a folder first and then dragging and dropping." We are implementing this for folders you can see on the screen when you drag file(s). If your "Court Filings" folder is a first level subfolder on a case, you're good to go. But if you need to drop files on a "Court Filings > Drafts" second level folder, you'll need to double click "Court Filings" first so the "Drafts" folder is on screen.
π π§βπ LS-142240: Some of the Azure AI models/endpoints/things started rejecting the max_tokens parameter. We grabbed a screwdriver and adjusted things on 2026-04-09 at 2:15 PM Eastern.
LS5
Are you testing LS5? You may find the following useful, interesting, or both.
β²οΈ LS-138836: The Timer block has an option to "Show stop and add timeslip if timer already running?", but LS5 isn't doing what it says on the tin. Option honoring on the way.
π€Ό LS-140296: Custom field Short Names must be unique. We forgot to make sure LS5 got the memo, read the memo, and understood the memo. Understanding and compliance is on the way.
π¨ LS-140676: "The Homepage Alerts block stubbornly refuses to display Deadlines in LS5." Destubbornization is on the way.
π₯ LS-141472: The Lead/Member Cases (Compact) block can be on a secondary tab on a case profile. In LS4 you can change the Lead Case value. LS5 is being convinced it should let you do the same.
πΊοΈ LS-141662: The County field on dynamic user forms is being contrary in LS5. It will sit up straight and fly right after this change.
π£οΈ LS-141665: Multiple home page announcements are being repeated once for each cycle in LS5. So the fourth time around you see each announcement 4 times. Once is enough, so that's what we'll do.
β³ LS-142438: If you display the My Time widget in LS4, and have longed to see it in LS5, prepare for joy. Like sand through an hourglass, these are the hours of your lives. NB: EVT/AGM detail is not yet available.
π©βπ¬ LS-142442: The "Show Advanced Grant Filter Status" link is nowhere to be found in LS5. We pointed out where LS5 can find it.
π LS-142710: LS5 decided list views should have a totals row, even if the list doesn't have any columns amenable to totaling. We'll stop it from doing that.
π π§βπ LS-142655: Lists on the main Reports page were blank areas of sadness in LS5. Fixed pushed out on 2026-04-14 at 11:26 AM Eastern.
